Who Needs to Attend?
Beginners:
First-time racers with no prior competitive experience.
Returning Riders:
Those who have not raced for an extended period and need to revalidate their skills.
NOTE:
Because we did not have a Drag Race for a while, we are recommending everyone to attend the assessment day.

In motorcycle racing, scrutineering (often called "tech inspection" or "scrutineering check") is the official technical inspection process that ensures all motorcycles and riders comply with the rules and safety standards of the event or championship. It is a mandatory step before a rider is allowed to participate in practice, qualifying, or races.
What Happens During Scrutineering?

Why Is Scrutineering Important?

Safety:
Ensures all bikes and riders meet minimum safety standards to reduce the risk of accidents or injuries.

Confirms that no bike has illegal modifications that could provide an unfair advantage.

Ensures the event follows the rules set by the organising body.
What Happens if a Bike or Rider Fails?
The rider will not be allowed to participate until the issue is fixed.

* TYPE 'H'
A one event type "H" licence for hillclimb / drag race / sprint events may be granted to any person who holds a full Category "A" motorcycle EU/UK drivers’ licence (not an A2 or lower category).
Holder must have a current medical certificate, completed assessment day and must be over 18 years of age.
